Hello NCTA!
I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring weather! It is time to get started on
those competition pieces for our 41st Annual NCTA summer show! Don’t forget this
year’s President’s challenge is the Racoon.
Dates for the show are July 27, 28 & 29 at the Village Inn Convention Center at 6205
Ramada Drive, Clemmons NC 27102. It is time to book your room reservations if you
haven’t done so already. Pre-Registration is open, and I encourage everyone to do so
if you are able. Pre-registering helps our board members run everything more
smoothly at the show! If you are planning on attending our banquet dinner, I
strongly encourage everyone to please pre-purchase your banquet tickets online at
our website www.nctaxidermist.org because the hotel now requires us to give them
an accurate number of tickets to be purchased and will not allow us any extra at the
show! You can also pre-register by using the form on the back of this newsletter.
It is time for some spring cleaning! Bring all those items you would like to donate for
our live auction on Friday night, and for every 2 items you donate you will receive a
raffle ticket for a chance to win $100. Also, if you have something you would like to
donate to our silent auction, please contact our Vice-President David Beamon
(252)775-0663 or email [email protected].
NCTA GUN RAFFLE! It is time to raise some money for our great association! We
will be raffling off a RUGER EC9S 9mm pistol at the show. 10 tickets for $10 or 25
tickets for $20.
Please remember we still need nominations for board positions! If you would like to
become a board member and help our association, we would love to have you join us
to lead the NCTA! Please reach out to Paul Willis (336)410-1588 or Doug Shores at
[email protected]. Nominations are due May 31st. I would like to thank
all our board members for all the hard work and effort, and countless hours that
goes into making our shows possible so we may all come together and have another
great show again this year! Thank you all!!!
Don’t forget to reach out and invite someone new to the show this year and I look
forward to seeing everyone soon!
God Bless,
Paul Willis
NCTA President
